Beady Eye supporting the Stone Roses @ Heaton Park

Tuesday, March 27, 2012

MANCHESTER - As I had already announced in my anticipatiiiions last year on OasisBlues, now confirmed: Beady Eye (playing some Oasis songs)  will support the Stone Roses @ Heaton Park in Manchester, 30 June, where Oasis played June 2009.

Primal Scream
The Wailers
The Vaccines
Kid British

Beady Eye
The Wailers
Professor Green
Hollie Cook

Plan B
The Wailers
The Justice Tonight Band (feat. Mick Jones, Pete Wylie & The Farm)
Dirty North

Noel Gallagher? invited and disappeared...as a scaredy bird (again, not in the English sense of "girl", but in the Italian one of "dick").
He had said he was going to support them and play at a different hour so he could see them...
‎"Ex Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher immediately announced his dream of being part of the bill for the shows, insisting he'd "sell hot dogs" if it meant getting the chance to open for the band."
Noel Gallagher to sell hot dogs on 30 June.

Pretty Green Spring/Summer 2012 collection

Monday, March 26, 2012

LONDON - The new Pretty Green Spring / Summer collection is a reinvention of iconic styles of the 1960s and 70s.
Steeped in rock and roll history, the collection takes inspiration from the likes of Marc Bolan, Brian Jones and John Lennon.
This seasons Black Label collection includes tailored outerwear and jackets, bohemian pastel paisley pattern shirts, and Bretton stripe tops. The signature paisley print features subtly throughout, in shirt linings and trimmings, providing a sense of sophistication, luxury and elegant yet casual appeal.
The Green Label collection includes macs, urban hooded waterproof jackets, florescent slubbed jerseys, grandad tees and polka dot polos, as well as chinos and cargo shorts. With large logo prints, strong colour pallets and camouflage lining throughout, our Green Label makes a bold statement.

song: Tin soldier, by the Small Faces

today a Noel blinded fan said: ‎"Liam's lack of a good haircut since DBTT"... actually, I love it, especially on its sides, and was a good inspiration.
Noel's lack of a good haircut since SGT PEPPER'S... probably that fan has Noel's Val Doonican style...
Just today's 1-minute-long PG video pulverized Noel's "coolness" of 20 years...

Beady Eye playing Oasis songs this summer

Wednesday, March 14, 2012

LONDON - Wearing RayBan sunglasses from Milan. Sign of a girl's lipstick kissing on the cheek ;).
Liam Gallagher, back from Usa (New York) for Pretty Green, said that Beady Eye are going to start playing Oasis songs during their live shows from now on.
"We're doing Fuji Festival in Japan, which is in July. And we will be dropping Oasis songs for anyone who's bothered."
"The time is right now, without a doubt," he continued. "We were always going to do it, but we thought the [Beady Eye] album needed to stand on its own. We've done some good gigs, we've done some shit gigs. And it's time to drop them in now. Everyone else is. I feel they're just as much my songs as they are Noel's. And if people don't like it, go to the bar or fuck off. If they do like it, jump up and down, let's have a good time."
Liam, named the Greatest Frontman of all time in the Xfm Legends poll, also revealed that Beady Eye were also about to start work on their second album.
"We're just demoing some songs, no rush, we're going to make it right, maybe put it out next year. It's sounding very uplifting and very rock and roll, but then I would say that."

And if they don't like it, go to the bar and spend £7,000 in a night, just like Noel.

Reactions to this news: of course Noel fans insulting Liam and talking shit of Beady Eye, but I don't want to be repetitive, you already know the truth.
The most "interesting" one:
"Liam, you sir are a massive cunt, contradicting yourself again are we? You Said last year we won't play oasis, you will always be in Noel's shadow. "
about contradicting, there's a whole list about Noel (see on Oasisblues), so maybe he's a huge, oceanic cunt?
besides, Liam didn't say he wasn't going to play Oasis songs, he just didn't DO it, he had said "not now, maybe someday...playing two or three Oasis songs on their next tour".
it's Noel who will always be in Liam's shadow, 'cause Noel hasn't got a shadow big enough, he's lost onstage.

some conversations are really pointless...
according to many websites, Liam insulted his own fans (!!!) because they don't want Oasis songs (!!)
...the truth, as always, is the opposite: Oasis HATERS (particularly, Liam haters) insulted him, this time for playing Oasis songs
Beady Eye are made of 4/5 of Oasis
they contributed not only in writing, but also performing and making them successful
Liam, singing them, brought them to life
plus, Liam had already said they were going to play some

Liam Gallagher the traveller: pizza and spaghetti, out of this world

Monday, March 12, 2012

LONDON - Notes from a traveller.
When I was younger, we were always dragged to Ireland kicking and screaming for our holidays as me is from County Mayo. It was good hanging out with my cousins on tractors in the countryside. There wasn't much else to do.
At heart I'm a big kid and visit Disneyland every year. I'm not into roller coasters - they freak me out. My favourite ride is Soarin', which has a huge screen and movies are projected round you as if you're hang-gliding over the San Francisco bridge.
Buenos Aires
El Monumental, the football stadium of the River Plate in Argentina, has to be one of the most atmospheric places I've ever played a gig. It was just mental. There were 60,000 kids screaming, dancing and singing along.
near Milano
Villa d'Este in Lake Como, Italy is one of my favourite places to visit with the misses - we just mess about on boats. The food is mega: pizza and spaghetti bolognese, which is out of this world. The Black Cat (ll Gatto Nero) has great views overlooking the lake.
[usually he talked about his favourite Gorgonzola cheese from near Milan, now he didn't]
Henley-on-Thames has a good little vibe to it - it's picturesque and there are lots of young people there. Oasis used to record round the corner so we'd go out for a beer after recording, head through Marlow and think, 'This is nice'. I've got a place for Henley by the river and every time I visit it's like going on holiday.
If I had to choose between sun and snow it would be snow. I like the cold seasons and could never spend Christmas in a hot country. Extreme weather sports are not for me. Once someone convinced me to go on skis in Switzerland. Going downhill was a nightmare and I may have fallen over a few times [lol, me the same]. Afterwards, I couldn't walk for a month.
Carnaby Street in the 1960's is the inspiration for my clothing range Pretty Green. All the bands who've records I bought over the years - the Beatles, the Stones and the Kinks - would pick up their clothes in that part of London and mooch about there. I've tried to capture that personality and rock 'n' roll vibe while at the same time offering something that feels modern and cool.

then your friends will all go (pretty) green for my lasagna

7 places I would pick Barcelona, Milan, Minorca, MonteCarlo, Madrid, Sun Valley in Trentino Italy and Fucking in Austria lol

usually Liam says nice thing about Japan too, and New York, and Canada, also because his wife is from there

..."and you say to the driver: just drive" (that was another song :)
You can see the Castello Sforzesco castle and the most famous theatre in the world, teatro alla Scala

I-Day festival: Beady Eye, Stone Roses, the Italian Knebworth :)

Saturday, March 10, 2012

BOLOGNA - The Stone Roses will be in Milan on 17 July, Milano Jazzin' Festival @ Arena Civica. They were here in 1989, John Squire in 1997 supporting Oasis with the Seahorses, and Ian Brown in 2008.
For this other festival, all the bands announced soon (next week), probably Franz Ferdinand too. There should be Liam Gallagher's band with the new album and the Stone Roses. The I-Day festival 2009 (Milan) was the one where Oasis had to perform their last gig ever... but Noel Gallagher left the band two days before.
There were Kasabian, Kooks, Deep Purple, etc.
In 2011: Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys, White Lies, Offspring, Simple Plan, etc.
Noel where will you be while we will be getting high...

Oasis @ Knebworth with John Squire from the Stone Roses
10-11 August 1996, nights of the falling stars... as Alan said: that's where Oasis should have ended

I was also @ Oasis in Milan 1997 (best fun ever, "flying" over the people), there were the Seahorses as support band (Liam wrote "Love Me and Leave Me" for them), with John Squire.
I was in the central part with my friends and at the first chord all the people moved suddenly and in one second I found myself almost on the front, jumping embraced to people I didn't know. My friends found me at the end, totally soaked. We still have a tape. Unforgettable

‎"Beady Eye puts Noels Album to shame. Beady is Rock n roll. I love Noel, he's amazing but High Flying Birds is weak compared to Beady Eye."

Liam Gallagher best frontman of all time, again

LONDON - from Twitter: wanna thank all for voting me, keep the faith and beware of daftcunts. I mean darkness. LG

ahahaha I bet he was thinking about one...

"If you're a good looking fucker like me, you've got to be down the front, haven't you? If I hold the microphone stand, I feel a bit weak and a bit singerish. But when I put my hands behind my back I feel more power… it feels like it's going to go off at any minute."

LG LeGend.

Voted as best front man of all time, this time for Xfm, a landslide victory and he received twice as many votes as the late Queen star.
Photo: the one behind is Mancini, protesting, lol.

"Sorry, but Liam is just not the greatest frontman of all time."

Sorry, but Mister Anonymous is just not the greatest Anonymous of all time.

1. Liam Gallagher (Oasis, Beady Eye)
2. Freddie Mercury (Queen)
3. Dave Gahan (Depeche Mode)
4. Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters)
5. Matt Bellamy (Muse) (fail)

Kerri the rolla girl with balls

look what she's doing at the end!!!

here's the solution to last year's Roller competition on Oasisblues to win Beady Eye's gig :)
All the girls (people) should be like her, so courageous.
But almost everybody's a scaredy cat... that's why Noel is so popular...
and Noel's fans had said it was a false video and she wasn't doing that...
they're used to the false thingsof their false idol, the liar.
Everything's real tonight tonight tonight...
better not to do this with the "alcohol lemon haze" :)
