Beady Eye 2012 supporting the Stone Roses +Milan, Liam best frontman

Wednesday, February 29, 2012

TOKYO - More about 2012. From Japan they say Beady Eye (photo from last year) will play this summer, as I had anticipated. It's at the Fuji Rock Festival 2012, from 27 to 29 July. Probably there won't be a whole tour as last year, but just some dates to promote the new album.
This festival is with Stone Roses, Ocean Colour Scene, the Specials, Elvis Costello, Kooks, James Iha, etc.

to vote for Liam as best frontman, click here
wondering why there's no God Noel Gallagher?

Beady Eye - In the bubble with a bullet (instrumental, soundcheck), song of the summer

Spike Island 1990

Beady Eye will probably play as support band for the Stone Roses this summer at various festivals. Noel (says, so you can doubt it) that he even changed the time of his gigs, to see them (the Stone Roses, not Beady Eye, lol... even if he continues saying that he likes them... so you can doubt it)

more about 1990, the World Cup Italia 90. This summer there's the Euro 2012 tournament

Italy-England 2-1 (1990, 3rd and 4th place final)
Italy vs England games are quite rare, there should be more (I remember in 1997 @ Wembley a 0-1 with Zola scoring).
During Italia 90 they both didn't lose any game, out because of penalties (vs Argentina and Germany). You can also see a young Pretty Green fan Paolo Maldini :)
England won the Fair Play award, and the final images of this video with the "ola" (Mexican) wave are remembered as the best ones from the World Cup Italia 1990. Schillaci was the top goalscorer.
named in the video: Pavarotti and paparazzo, lol.

they will be in Milano on 17 July, @ Arena Civica, Milano Jazzin' Festival

the Rolling Stones LAST tour, 50th anniversary 1962-2012 +compilations

Sunday, February 26, 2012

MILAN - You know Brian Jones is one of Liam's inspirations for his look (the last thing Liam said about him "I always thought Brian Jones looked the bollocks" :).
You know Mick Jagger had sex with 7,000 women, so we should have it with everybody ahaha There's only one life...let's go to Fucking, Austria, lol.
The tour is confirmed and of course the Italian date too (even if one is not enough), the day is yet to be decided, usually in June-July, because of the football pitch, to be ready for the end of August. Their first gig ever was a private one 12 July 1962 @ Marquee - email me and I can send you.
Again as in 2003 and 2006 @ legendary San Siro AC Milan stadium, the "Scala del calcio" football theatre.

model: Silvia in Milano

+the Queen could probably play in Verona, 23 July 2012
the day may change, anyway it would be special. Queen experts say Adam Lambert is good enough to be compared to Freddie Mercury.
In one of the most beautiful locations, and very appropriate: English Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet city (as Morricone in September).

Pretty Green look book

Thursday, February 23, 2012

LONDON - An interview with Pretty Green Look Book designer Dave Uprichard of One Big Company.
Creative design agency One Big Company designed the new S/S 2012 look book for Liam Gallagher’s clothing brand Pretty Green, which was then printed by Principal Colour in Kent. This beautifully made object was inspired by record sleeves and features stunning photography shot on London’s Hampstead Heath. We caught up with designer Dave Uprichard to find out what goes into putting a look book together.
Your most recent project has been the creation of a look book for Liam Gallagher’s clothing company Pretty Green. How did the collaboration come about?

Myself, Matt and Neil (the other members of the One Big Company team) were contacted by a former colleague from our time at Ted Baker who now designs the collections for Pretty Green.

Have you worked on the design of many look books over the years?

Yes indeed, working at Ted Baker they were one of the bi-annually repeated projects we looked forward to most and as a bonus towards the end of my time there they started creating a High Summer mini-lookbook too so I got to turn my hand to that as well.

What do you think sets the Pretty Green collection apart from other fashion collections for men?

Apart from the inherent sense of cool which comes through its associations with Liam Gallagher and the best bits of the British music scene what’s great about Pretty Green compared to other fashion collections is that each season is different - obviously your staples are still there but there’s no taking the best selling styles from previous collections, adding a different button or pocket to it and rolling out something which is 99% the same as last year.

What inspired the design of the look book?

It’s inspired by the British music scene of the 60s & 70s, the format is a 12” with a black slipcase to echo a record sleeve and then all the shots have been graded to give an aged analogue feel. There’s no digital crispness with this book, we wanted it to look raw.

Oasis biggest fan, Pretty Green's Mark Hateley and charities

Wednesday, February 22, 2012

MILAN - Ex Chelsea's - into Pretty Green Joe Cole was her ex boyfriend (before losing himself in provincial france), the one who should've joined "Milan fashion giants"... This is Oasis biggest fan... in every sense :). Keeley Hazell. I'm always honest: it's not me the biggest one :). She's obsessed with Oasis and Britpop. I remember there were even Facebook groups to establish who was the biggest one, they didn't even know. She was also a "pitbabe" as my sister, for Jenson Button (when was @ BAR Honda, British American Racing).
Pretty Green clothes for girls soon... meanwhile, the Pretty Green girl is still naked ;)
She's a very intelligent girl ;) (this one: no wishlist on Amazon, lol). In the video, the photo wearing an Union Jack dress as Liam Gallagher, is for Bacardi + pics with Manchester City shirt. 1:20: Noel Gallagher old shoes... still "to be honest" (as Noel says...), I still wear those ones sometimes. I prefer her sister, the one with smaller boobs :):). Sounds a bit like a country song, you might be tired of it (In the bubble with a bullet, best one by Beady Eye), but we're not. Nice memories.

GLASGOW - Rangers will play a game vs AC Milan legends for a charity. That's the team supported by the "ex Oasis guitarist's" wife Sara (and by Oasis "president" Alan), and as she hates Noel's music, of course he also supports their historic rivals, Celtic. Of course, Noel also hates charities, and he said he didn't care about the Teenage Cancer Trust when he played.
Last year he didn't play for that, nor didn't do anything for Japan. While Pretty Green was doing a lot, and hospitals, Birmingham (sister city of Milan), etc.
Match also "featuring" :) the former AC Milan-into Pretty Green English footballer Mark Hateley. And Paolo Maldini, Liam meets him. Noel meets Del Piero. Milan-Juventus on Saturday.
The other day Noel said men who talk about fashion are gays... and that it's the reason for the downfall of society (oh not the videgames again?). Not very popular (euphemism) things to say in fashion cities... rather little town old mentality.
Meanwhile, Noel Gulliver's idol Mourinho shit impression in Moscow: "everybody's gay here"...
Plus, notice the sites around, telling about the TCT history: Noel Gallagher played blah blah. Yes but Noel Gallagher MOANED about it, as usual. Liam's Beady Eye played.

the fantastic fly, how can I forget this goal, so very 80's ;)
r.i.p. our friend Alessandro, AC Milan big fan - these things remind us so much about him

Depeche Mode

we're flying high (birds)... the song on the video above was obviously this one, 1987. There was one missing from the 80's compilations on Oasisblues :) ...as long as I remember who's wearing the "same old ruined 2001 trousers" (lol, Noel).
My first girl in the '90s was a big fan, the older Patsy Kensit "looking like a star in a Jaguar", but also the reason for the "split", lol. That is, her gay friends, also: reason for the downfall of society (Noel Gulliver) LOL.
That's how I entered the Formula One world, her "lover" was the Australian cook of the Jordan team... fail!
That's why Noel "used to" hate Australians, lol.
I wonder how an Australian can cook, that must be terrible. To quote a recent post: no salt at all, ahaha.
Now seriously, (Irish) Jordan really failed. It must've been the cook's fault. But Eddie Jordan is always around for music things and bitches :)

Bluvertigo (band from near Milan: Monza, as the F1), "Fuori dal tempo" (=outta time)

more "gay friends" of that girl, the ones of "life in Milan is selective, VERY selective". This is about: in Italy the military service used to be compulsory, and we had a series of tests, with also an absurd questionnaire made of thousands of questions, also asking: do you like flowers? ...far from that, there was also: would you like to be a florist? ... if there was a contradiction, = you're mad / gay, that is: you can't be a soldier (lol)
It also says: I like mad people :), "penso che praticamente sia bella la gente insana di mente".
Of course I was a soldier, despite being mad, lol. But because I wanted. Because it was a nice experience, and being a volunteer they also paid money. Of course almost everybody didn't want, and they pretended they were sick/mad/gay LOL. If you answered with contradictions, you had to visit the psychologist, everybody wanted because "he" was a sexy woman, lol.
Now you see why life in Milan is very selective ahaha
Liam wants to be a soldier :), it's also full of photos of Liam wearing military stuff, even by Pretty Green.

trip to Fucking to call the kid Beady Eye by the end of the world

Friday, February 17, 2012

FUCKING - (lol) A word we use much, an activity we don't do enough :).
Let's everybody update our "current location" to this town: Fucking, Austria. The world will be a better place. It's not so far from Milan.
For an Oasis fan, this is a cult trip. We could go @ Easter weekend, in the centre of Europe, reachable for anyone.

local tour guide:
"The Germans all want to see Mozart's house in Salzburg; the Americans want to see where The Sound of Music was filmed; the Japanese want Hitler's birthplace in Braunau; but for the British, it's all about Fucking."

Augustina Lindlbauer, the manager of an area guesthouse, noted that the area had lakes, forests, and vistas worth visiting, but there was an "obsession with Fucking".

she recalled how she had to explain to a British female tourist "that there were no Fucking postcards."

it was announced that the village would be installing CCTV cameras in an attempt to deter summertime tourists from filming themselves having sexual intercourse in front of the Fucking signs.

ahahahaha

Oasis, Fucking in the bushes (copied from Jimi Hendrix, Little miss lover, plus samples from Murray Lerner's film Message to Love-Isle of Wight)

There'll always be an England, with final Oasis sample
and another video here, Tiny Tim (see the Baroness, lol)

2005: this is the first Pretty Green test :) ...look at Liam's hat and jacket.
live @ City of Manchester stadium, plus Turn up the sun, by Andy
("you're gonna get the sack" sounds like a bit of a hoax...after Noel left the band 2 days before the last gig in Milan...)

video with Beady Eye fans-Pretty Green lovers. Evelina, Joanna, Stefania, Irina, Martina... as with the early Oasis, the girls have been fundamental to the success of the bands. I remember that more important than anything else was the girls who liked Liam

MILAN - You remember last year there was "calling the kid Beady Eye by the end of the year" (said by Liam)...as we didn't have kids yet, this year it's "by the end of the world" :))
(21 December 2012, time: 11:11 am). And you remember all the strange Oasis artworks... the "Oasis curse - mysteries"...
We noticed that between this and the "weekend trip to Fucking, Austria", there are about 9 months... it's written, we must make this kid called BeadyEye, LOL.
Then the kid is gonna be proud and tell everybody: my name is Beadyeye and I was conceived in Fucking, Austria (LOL). He/She's both a boy and a girl...as in Tommy by the Who: it's a boooyyy... no, it's a girl. Or: it's Noel, that is: both of them ahahaha
In Italian (Roman dialect) it's: "o' famo strano 'sto pupetto", LOL (=we make this baby in a strange way), from a popular comic film.
Really original child, unique. Maybe a bit too much.
Now seriously, I think having a child nowadays is the worst idea one could have. I mean, it's probably the biggest joy one could have in life but how much time would it last? some weeks? then it would be all about spending money, well wasting money, having seen the results of the new generations, not sleeping, more problems as if they weren't enough, and shitting everywhere (lol).
They say they're sure I would be a perfect dad. And I already don't sleep at night (but in the morning). And I've got A LOT of time on my hands (lol). So I could be a perfect baby sitter :) (desperate househusband), full of shit around ahahaha Not sure about it... I know children like me, but the feeling is not always mutual.

yours,
the "fucking Mayans" ahaha
(the ones Noel Gallagher loves...)

oh and about children being our future, here's a song to remember Whitney Houston,
Greatest love of all

Valentine's Queen

Tuesday, February 14, 2012

MILAN - Image above: Pretty Green paisley pattern. Video: new version (this time no Noel Gallagher), one for Valentine's day, the Queen in Milan, Love of my life. Also featuring Oasis, Pretty Green and Liam.
Oh mamma mia mamma mia, mamma mia let me go... ...caught in a landslide... / caught beneath a landslide...

("Volete cantare con noi?" - do you want to sing with us? - Freddie Mercury said, in perfect Italian. ..."somebody told me that Italians are the best singers in the world... especially in Milano!" :) - he was probably thinking of Pavarotti, lol)

Oasis never talked shit about the Queen (I mean the band :), so they probably like them.
Now that Liam is on the Queen's list (I mean the woman :), he could really like them :)

Good old fashioned lover boy
this is Argentina-Milano: we can do the tango, be your Valentino :)

Spread your wings
Sammy... this was a cult. There's also some Oasis video in the snow as this one...

Don't look back in anger
and Sally :). What a shite voice!!! even outta tune. Better not to compare it to Freddie Mercury's. I can sing MUCH better. I mean it's easy for everyone to sing better than this. In fact he said he learned to sing in 2005... I think in 2015. Here it was cold so he was probably drunk... then it seems it's always cold there...
Liam please when you're gonna play songs from What's the Story Morning Glory, we wanna hear this one too, as it should've been sung by you.

Don't stop me now
as for Oasis, it was the girls who introduced us to their music.
When we were at school in the 90's we escaped from the classroom from the window -> corridor and to play songs as this one with 4, 6, 8 hands in a hidden room that had a piano (also Liam can play the piano, you can see him in some Oasis videos). Good ol' times... if we didn't start to follow the Queen, we wouldn't have become Oasis fans... English bands, great frontmen, great quality music. I know, I should've studied some more Britalian :) but then I put my life in the hands of a rock'n'roll band, and they didn't throw it all away yet, 'cause there's still Beady Eye :)

You're my best friend
the early 90's were the times when the first CDs came out, and we already had everything on tapes and vinyls, and being huge fans we were buying the Cds too. One day I sold one thing by the Queen 'cause I had too many copies of it, and one of my friends goes: WHAT?! you have sold a NIGHT AT THE OPERA??!! ('cause he wanted to buy it, his 7th copy of the same album, lol). It was like a religion, even more sick than God Noel godlike fans.

In the lap of the Gods+Seven seas of Rhye+Tear it up
In the lap of Noels (lol). Pretty Green stripes t-shirts (lol). When I read kids: best event ever @ Wembley? Muse (Liam would say: wtf?). This is history. He was explosive... and I remember we used to say: it's so strange thinking that now he's "in a little box", lol

special Tommy for Italy + Beckham: I miss Milan

Saturday, February 11, 2012

LONDON - ‎"I really like Beady Eye. I think Liam Gallagher has done a great job with that band. I’ve got a real soft spot for Liam – he’s a great guy.
He had to prove it to himself that he could do it without all the booze and the crap and he’s really cleaned himself up.”
(Roger Daltrey)

The Who's legend comes to our country with something special for Italy: 8 dates, for the show with the mods symbol, the final one in Milano, 24 March (@ Smeraldo theatre).
(you know, for me the real beginning of the year is with the 25 of March, as the English "old fashioned" calendar)

It's a rock opera from 1969 (their other one is Quadrophenia). There will be songs by the singer too, and videos, an unforgettable experience for all the generations.
Pete Townshend doesn't play (on guitar his brother Simon) but is enthusiastic about this show.

as in one of my favourite films, Almost Famous: "listen to Tommy with a candle burning you will see your entire future."
(songs: Simon&Garfunkel's America + Sparks. Don't show that Beach Boys album to Noel Gallagher 'cause he hates them)

do you remember, Noel Gallagher singing in falsetto and always on Grazia magazine, in the film Tommy (1975) they sing "it's a boy"...no, it's a girl ahahaha

One would expect David Beckham saying "Manchester United is always in my heart" (or Real Madrid), having played there for many years. But Beckham "forgot" them and named Milan when asked about his career, even though he could play for the Italian champions for a few months only. He said it's something he always keeps inside himself and misses much.
The "Spice boy", Oasis fan (attending the Gallaghers last gig in Milan), back to London for the launch of his line "David Beckham Bodywear for H&M" (underwear), recently refused his transfer to Paris (Saint Germain), plus other rumours about him joining English clubs, and stays in Los Angeles for the family, to play with LA Galaxy.
For the Champions League's Milan-Arsenal, he predicted AC Milan to win.

For his statue @ Madame Tussauds museum in London, he's wearing an AC Milan shirt.

Britalian Dolce vita

Wednesday, February 08, 2012

MILAN - Today I want to post here about different things, in a "stream of consciousness" :), cinema, music, fashion, football, etc., 'cause Liam is about everything.
You know on Oasisblues I write about everything, here only things linked to Pretty Green.
We can consider Pretty Green as a very "Britalian" thing, having started in Italy and having many Italian elements.
Just today I had officialy founded a new language: Britalian :)
a mix between English and Italian tongues, where mistakes are allowed and we blame it on alcohol (lol).
You know, true perfection has to be imperfect! I know that that sounds foolish but it's true! God said so!
Italians have resided in Britain since the times of Roman Emperor Claudius' invasion in AD 43. In Italy, a city as Milan (same flag of England, Saint George's, and best football club in history founded by a group of English and Italians) has 7,000 British inhabitants. There are many Britalians who have made a huge contribution to society. Famous Britalians: Paolo Nutini, Frankie Dettori, Marco Pierre White, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Benjamin Disraeli, Damon Minchella, Paolo Hewitt, Oasis friends Kasabian's Sergio Pizzorno, etc.

(AC Milan sponsor). Let's have another look at fashion ("Milan fashion giants" as they call us, lol...you remember the model obsessed for Oasis Keeley Hazell's ex boyfriend, ex Chelsea's Joe Cole for Pretty Green... he had to join AC Milan, already bought a house by Como lake where Liam always goes, then Cole lost himself in france... also Chelsea have Dolce&Gabbana as sponsor) and cinema, as we are "Hollywood Milano" (where Liam was), and he's producing a film with his "In 1 Productions".

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s muse Scarlett Johansson steps out from behind her created persona, and in the process, reveals a further facet of her talent as a globally renowned actress and lends a compelling presence to the role.
The mood of the golden era in Italian film-making – an enduring source of inspiration for Dolce&Gabbana – is perfectly captured. Reminiscent of Cinecittà’s greatest output from director Federico Fellini, in films such as La Dolce Vita, Scarlett is cast as an actress being interviewed between takes.
Scripted by writer Glenn O’Brien in collaboration with Scarlett, the dialogue ricochets back and forth between an unseen journalist and the star.
Comments Scarlett: "For this renewal, we played with the idea of the woman behind the public image. There’s a refreshing familiarity and sincerity. The way to wear The One is as a signature scent – it creates a strong first impression as well as delicately lingering after you’ve gone."

...my lips, for kissing and for words that start with the letter M ;)
yeah I love you too red Scarlett.

‘I do all my own stunts… even the lovemaking’, she declares, then towards the end of the interview, admits that she is ‘not looking for a million things, just that one perfect thing: love…’

"I had an Italian Boyfriend once...His mother broke up with me."

one says: "because it's said Italian men are mommy's boys. So if their mum don't like a girl then she's no good. lol"...

I say: oh really, "it's said" eh? by who? by JEALOUS or RACIST people. She says so because the Italian "mamma mia" has a great POWER in the family. Keep your comments without knowing anything for your country men. I bet some good looking "Italian mommy man" refused you because you're UGLY. "lol"
(sounds like the haters, jealous of Liam)

She's American but her surname clearly sounds Swedish... as in Sweet Life, Anita Ekberg was Swedish but played the role of an American actress:

featuring the legendary Marcello Mastroianni (quite nervous character in this film), we still think about this movie everytime a foreign girl comes visiting Italy on holidays, so you have to treat her as a Princess. In the film there were also the "paparazzi" photographers, for the first time using that word (from the name of a character, Paparazzo - Liam used to hate them :).
I was talking to a Polish girl who was saying a series of bad things, stereotypes about here, and at the end she admitted that she has not even been to Italy in all her life. As I was saying a 1000 times (some countries can't understand it, especially from Northern Europe, as they're clearly not Latins), Italy is very different from zone to zone... it's even more than only one country, there's a strong regionalism, similar to England. People, dialects, etc. can change even from town to town.

this is the reason why some stupid one says Beady Eye are gay...because linked to fashion (Pretty Green).
This is a music band from Milano (Elio e le Storie Tese), who made a series of videos mocking the people living in different parts of Italy. This is about Milan, lol.
As I was saying in the post about the "Dolce vita", sometimes foreign girls are worried to go to Italy, 'cause they think everybody is a "latin lover", so it's "dangerous" for them, but as you can see, in Milan there's no risk, LOL
one says "what a divine colour"... but in Italian "di vino" also means "of wine", so the other says: "which wine? you cretin" (cretin in a feminine form, cretina LOL)
As you can see, in the video there's the same background behind, that Beady Eye had in some photos :)
(they were up the Terrazza Martini)

Then, football... the band England split up. It's a sad news...

It's with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit England tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with the FA a day longer.
Apologies to all the people who thought we could win Euro 2012.

Fabio Capello

(mocking Noel Gallagher statement when Oasis split)

Capello last games: England-Sweden 1-0 for the first time in 43 years and England-world champion Spain 1-0. They were on the right road...
The only team where he didn't win trophies was England...(well, there was only one trophy available to win... and that referee of Germany-England is not innocent...ghost goal and absurd offside for Rooney in front of the goalkeeper, and it was the same linesman...)
...and the shite was Capello eh?
well done Fabio, the FA won't win anything for centuries.
Now they'll have a new manager just 4 months before the championship, and it's not a very nice thing... You'll have to be very lucky...

Let's have a look at the music from the 90's and 80's...

Pulp, Disco 2000
oh here's a story of women, just like Noel Gallagher. This video reminds me of one from our university for models (=idiots) who wanted to have sex with me at home while there were my parents in the room next to us, lol just like in Trainspotting (what a risk). Similar scene from the film here with the girl in the taxi.
But I didn't sleep in the corridor like Mark Renton :) (there's four and twenty million doors on life's endless corridor :). She insisted but I didn't want... and I remember she was so stupid that said: when I'm making love, I shout - but at the same time she wanted. Some girl told me: "yea i tell u boy: women wanna shout haha"... and that girl always said: there are the afternoons to make sex... And me thinking: wtf? is that her job? LOL it was something I wasn't used to do, lol (well, still now). You know, I'm a virgin.

what a nice day. God Noel&Christ Martin together (from the film: dumb and dumber), Milan lost, England lost Capello... trash.
Suede, always loved this band, of course Noel hates them. I met them near our Football English Pub, where we invited Liam and Morricone. They remind me of Natalie "the best conceivable English model" :) in Milan, a "big bird" studying chemistry. One of the festivals this summer in Milan is dedicated to her

The beautiful ones, there's a cover by Noel Gallagher: "The Ugly Ones".
He also covered True by Spandau Ballet: "False".
He is such a liar...

Different class, still speeding ;)
one dedicated to the foundation of Britalian, Bar Italia (famous bar in London, you remember the article on Zani)

Ah, the Nineties. No cell phone. No Facebook, no Twitter, no YouTube, no Mp3, NO INTERNET.
All we did back then to catch music videos was on TV. Frantically called best friends on home telephone that our favorite singers/band were on tv.
Oasis, Verve, Suede, Smashing Pumpkins, Jewel... Memorable times... gone are those days. Nothing ever lasts forever.

For those who don't know, this is an Italian band, song for the 1975 horror film by Dario Argento "Profondo rosso" (deep red), one of the scariest you could see (with David Hemmings, the English actor from Michelangelo Antonioni Blow-up, the Swinging London-Carnaby Street-Pretty Green).
Italian progressive rock from the '70s.

On Oasisblues I posted a lot about the '80s, here just some special mention...

Eighth Wonder, I'm not scared
(she's no scaredy cat as Noel - I'll take those 8 dogs away from her :)
(may lightning strike Noel if he's telling a lie)
with Eros Ramazzotti, La luce buona delle stelle (3:05 she sings in Italian)
David Bowie, Absolute beginners, film with Patsy Kensit and Italian mod scooters

excuse me for the hearts: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ (8)
again and again: love has no age. She's the woman buying me (see the post about the wishlist).
her son works @ a Pretty Green store... but no more blue cashmere pullovers, Liam promised me his ex wife (no problem that she's 2nd hand - oops, 3rd hand - oops, 4th hand - etc.). She had 4 husbands. In the future maybe 8 husbands (Liz Taylor?). They were all British men, she never tried an Italian. Patsy in Italy sounds good :D
Probably I've got to write A LOT of scripts for Liam... you know, those for his interviews... that's why they're full of mistakes ahaha
This was my childhood shock (especially her dress going down @ Italian Sanremo festival 1987 when she was 19: Will you remember (Wil)Liam :) - from 1:15 her dress falls (same leopard dress from Liam), flashing a nipple. The shock of the flashing, lol (of the lightning - Oasis). A scandal for those times, especially in Italy. I do remember. They talked about this for days, weeks, months, years. I'm still talking about it, it's history :)
yes single Patsy, even though hearing your voice now you've clearly become a man - nowadays it can happen (LOL)
I've known a similar English girl recently but she seems to have too many problems with alcohol. Completely mad, not even our psychiatric hospital would accept her. They think drinking is cool, but it isn't, at all.

Foreigner, I want to know what love is - Patsy after 4 British husbands wants to know what love is - foreigner (lol)

Diana Ross, Upside Down  - title of Oasis' Creation Records film :). Some years ago the owner of Liam's favourite restaurant, that one by Como lake near Milan, gave to Liam some rarity stuff by Diana Ross as gift... now I don't accept any more Pretty Green cashmere pullovers from Liam. Only ex wives.

this was one of the defining songs of the Eighties, by the Italian good artist Raf, it was his beginning, singing in English

she was one of my insipirations when I used to sing (and Kelly Jones) for my rough voice-whisky effect :)
I should try Noel's-Farinelli falsetto, but no girl castrated me. Not yet. Someone did with Noel, it's clear in his blog, problems with women, inferiority complexes, hair, etc.

I added many more (songs, not wives), on Oasisblues.

the Strokes, Hard to explain
my ex best friend, that one very similar to Noel in everything (was it Noel?), was friends with his father...pathetic when Julian writes lyrics moaning about something. You're the son of John Casablancas Milano, one of the biggest model agencies, hard to explain such a hard life...
I still hear him when he calls by phone on football programmes on tv...
"was an honest man"...
of course, Inter Pirelli related, the "honest" ones.
You might think: ah, that's why you're angry with Noel. No I'm not angry, I laugh about him the whole day. That must be a hard life ;)

Liam: the more of me in the world the better

LONDON - Today, the singer is something of a reformed character. It’s over two years since Oasis acrimoniously split. The man I’m talking with, lives with his second wife and their ten-year-old son on the edge of London’s Hampstead Heath.
We’ve been happily discussing the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, nappy-changing and school runs, curious conversation topics.

I’m still a young man and I want to get stuff done. I love running. I’ve got a shed, but there’s not much in it – just a Flymo. Get back to me in a year and you might see some mad gardening going on.
It takes more than blood to be my brother. I’ve still got the right hump and now the gloves are off. We’re still not talking. If people think I’m going to be happy about the Oasis split, then they’re wrong. Even though I love Beady Eye, I’d prefer to still be in Oasis, because that was my thing. Oasis was my life.
I live and breathe rock’n’roll. This isn’t a hobby for me. It’s been great doing all these shows, going back to square one. It’s good to see the crowd and hear them. Long may that continue. Big gigs are soulless masses of people – I’m glad I’ve done them, but I don’t miss them. I’ve got nothing to prove anyway.
I’d rather people looked like me than Ronan Keating. I don’t mind it at all. The more of me in the world the better, I say. I’m down with it. I’ve just got to keep ahead of the pack.
How can you be stylish if you never wash? Look at these grungers – they just walk around filthy with matted hair and smelly T-shirts, looking like tramps – where’s the park bench and the Special Brew? And I despise this new disease of indie student music – Bloc Party and all that nonsense.
I don’t want to reinvent the wheel. I always thought Brian Jones looked the bollocks. George Harrison was cool and Paul Weller always looked good. Those are the three most stylish men in history for me, and the most overrated is my brother. He dresses like Val Doonican. But it’s the usual stuff, Sixties rock ’n’ roll – the Kinks, the Who, the Stones – that’s the vibe for me. It’s fine as it is, so let it be.
If it doesn’t look good on me then I’m not having it.
I keep an eye on things. I want to make the best clothes for the lad on the street or the next rock star in the making. The way I go about it is that I go through the wardrobe and think, ‘I’d like that new, in a nicer cloth’, and get it made. Or I delve into the past and make the clothes I always wanted. I see my label, Pretty Green, going everywhere.
Quadrophenia – the music, the clothes – is the height of British style.
Better than the Madchester scene or Britpop or anything else. The clothes were cool. A lot of people had nothing in those days – just a scooter and a house party to go to in Brighton. But it was good. There’s too much going on these days. There’s too much choice and not enough quality.
There are more hardcore mods than me. I definitely go for the mod more than the rocker business, but I like Neil Young, Pink Floyd, the Beatles, a lot of really out-there and psychedelic stuff. To be honest, I’ve got my own thing going on. My style comes from football and all that casual thing.
Everyone had a certain look in the Eighties. Music and football collided then. Meanwhile, a lot round my way used to wear dinner jackets and flares and walk about with walking sticks, and they looked cool.
I never sold drugs, but to get the odd thing I was a bit of a blagger.
I had honest work in a garden factory creosoting fences, until the boss told me to clean the toilet out. I cleared off, then I worked with my dad on his building firm, went out labouring. I’d go to church with my mum and then go home and see her get proper battered by my dad. She left him when I was ten.
Starting out with Oasis didn’t freak me out at all. I’d been digging holes in Manchester for the previous four years, so I was ready for it. I was like: here’s your spade, you can have it! It all felt good to me. I didn’t take five years off to sit down and talk about how great I am. We went straight into the studio after the fight in Paris and we haven’t stopped since. You only get one crack at it, so you might as well get on with it, do it well and do it right. The busier the better.

Liam Gallagher

Pretty Green in Copenhagen

COPENHAGEN - Liam Gallagher in København in Danmark with his 7-man team (but without his wife Nicole Appleton), at the Skt. Petri hotel and Zen disco, to launch a pop-up store.
All the people from Denmark I've known, are big fans of Italy, more than anyone else, don't really know why. Or maybe I was too drunk when I met Danish people to remember why :)
