On Vogue: Liam Gallagher claims the design philosophy of his Pretty Green fashion line sets him apart from the rest of the fashion industry.
"We're not like all them fashion designers," Gallagher said. "These are just for lads on the street."
Founded in 2009 by Gallagher, Pretty Green comprises jeans, knitwear, Parkas and footwear.
The star disputed claims that money is his motive for designing the laid-back menswear range."I don't like to talk about money - it's vulgar," he told the Sunday Times Magazine. "Even if it didn't make a lot of money, I'd still do it."
Although he doesn't mind signing autographs and having pictures taken with fans, Gallagher prefers to go shopping first thing in the morning when it's not too crowded. When asked if he likes the shops to be open only for him, the musician replied; "I find that ridiculous, all that shit. Listen, I don't mind shopping with the public - I am the public."
